• Never invite a stranger to your home or go alone to an isolated location.
• For high-value items, consider meeting near a police station.

• Always see and test the item in person before handing over any money.
• Confirm the item matches the photos and description in the ad.
• For electronics, check that it powers on and works as expected.
• For vehicles or property, verify ownership documents carefully.

• Pay only after you have seen and inspected the item.
• Be very cautious with deposits or part-payments before viewing.
• Avoid wiring money or paying through untraceable methods to people you have not met.
• If a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is.

• Be wary of sellers who refuse to meet in person or only communicate off the platform.
• Ignore messages asking for one-time passwords (OTPs), card details, or your password. We will never ask for these.
• Watch out for fake payment confirmation screenshots and overpayment refund tricks.
